Re: Need crown vic info quick!!

Arrrrgh! Why can't I find that kind of a deal on a Crown Vic?! I would swap the motor(Plus the CPU), trans,, rear axle and front suspension all on to my F100. That whole combo is good power and handling all in one.

Re: Another request for help decoding a Warranty Door Tag/1

I'll have to check. Just wondering about the 4 before the 81 on the body code. It's written exactly as it shows on the tag: 481

Another request for help decoding a Warranty Door Tag/1966

So, I kind of got most of the info decoded, but the DSO and something on the body code. Here's what I have so far: VIN:F10(F100) B(300 cubic inch inline six) R(San Jose, California assembly plant) 763527(October 1965) 1966 F100 2wd Styleside Long Bed 300 L6 150 HP@ 3600 RPM (Most specs claim 170 HP)...

Re: Brake light switch option.

Bringing this back up. With the design the OP made and the concern of it pivoting, why not just add extra length to the top area that attaches with a bolt? Say, enough room for a second bolt? Possible pivoting issue solved.

So, I ordered some stuff I needed right off the bat. Got all my keys and locks, and I ordered an ignition switch, but I guess I accidentally ordered one for Ford Econoline. So, now I'm stuck until I can get another one. Also ordered my passenger side replacement vent window, and got a steering rag j...

So, first things first, can anyone recommend good sites to order parts from such as 300 straight six performance parts and all around body parts?

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this year, because my wiring is a rats nest, and even though everything works, I would love to rewire this thing.

Thanks! It was the sketchiest drive home when I got it. Drove it 65 miles down through twisty mountain roads at night through a cloud bank on old bias ply tires with no power steering and manual drum brakes with my wife following behind me. I did 55 most of the way(A little over speed limit), and sh...
