Re: Brake Problem
The bore size appears to be 1 1/8 on the master cylinder. I think my booster is undersized like the one guy replied as everything seems to working properly but the system doesn't seem to have the muscle. Do they make any kind od electrical assist to what I already have installed? or does it all depe...

Re: Brake Problem
I am not sure of the master cylinder size but the calibers were part of a mustang II front end kit I put on the truck so I would hope they are the correct size. How can I tell what the bore size is on the master cylinder?

Brake Problem
Need some help on brakes. I have front disc and back drum set up on my 64 F100. The problem is I have a hard brake pedal and while the vehicle stops it doesn't stop on a dime. There are no fluid leaks and the check valve on the booster is fine. I have checked the booster by pumping the brakes prior ...

styleside rear bumper mounts
Would any one have any pictures of how the rear bumper mounts attach to the frame of a 64 style side? I have the mounts but would like to see a picture of how they mount. Figuring I will have to make some modifications since I put a side fill tube through the frame for the gas tank. Any help would b...

wiper arm location problem
Hopefully there is an easy fix for this problem. The problem is the wipers in the off position stop with the wiper arms sitting perpendicular to the windshield instead of parallel with the windshield. All new components were installed (new motor, arms, etc.). Standing at the front of the truck and I...

Re: front bumper mounts, help!
I found the brackets and mounted them onto the frame. The only problem now is they are on a 33" center between the holes and the bumpers all seem to be on a 32" center. Any suggestions????

front bumper mounts, help!
Does anyone have a picture of the front bumper mounts for a 64 F100? I looked through all my boxes of parts and cannot locate anything that appears to be correct.

heat system for 64 custom cab
I have the original heater core for my 64 F100 and it is the last thing I need to install to complete my truck ( with exception to the bed). My question is has anyone out here installed a heater core and blower system that was aftermarket in one of these trucks? I am finding parts very hard to come ...

Re: Under bed gas tank swa[
If you want to go through the frame and out through the rear fender for a fill I used a 1949 chevy coupe SS 16 gal tank. With the mustangs you have to come up through the bed to fill and I opted against that. I got the idea from a posting on this site. You'll have to look around for it as I am not t...

Re: power steering/Alternator brackets
I had to fabricate the ps pump bracket for the 302 engine (1972) I put in my 64 as the one that came with the engine would not work with the saginaw pump I used. The Alternator bracket was just one long arched slotted arm to make up tension on the belt and the alternator bolted on the engine.

Door Hinges
Has anyone, and I'm sure most have but how does the hinge pin come out of the hinges? Punch out? Screw out? I don't want to do any damage trying to punch them out. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Oh I forgot the hinges are on a 64

under the bed tank install help
I have a 64 F100 short bed and am trying to locate a tank to fit into the rear frame with minimal modifications. Has anyone here relocated the gas tank on a short bed and if so do you have any pointers? I have surfed all over the net and have not found anything close and I'm guessing it's because I ...

Master Cylinder with power brake booster question
Can anyone direct me to a thread or provide info concerning replacing the stock MC with a disc/drum setup with a power booster? Is there a setup out there that can be purchased to bolt in as opposed to buying seperately. This would be for a 64 with disc on front and drum on back with a 302 small blo...
