Re: Can anyone tell me.....................
Since the windshield is out of mine at this time I got a measurement for you. Mine is a 63 custom cab and the pinch weld itself is 7/16". I checked several places on all 4 sides.

Re: To be auctioned next month; '64 flareside w/ 'Vette powe
Nice paint, but the ford body can't hide the fact it's a GM vehicle. My guess is the guy couldn't sell his vette so he tried to hide it under the slick body with hope he could get rid of it.

Re: Repair cab mounts on or off frame
I tipped the cab on my 63 in a 1 1/2 car garage. It made the job much easier and didn't require much space. Just place a couple of 2x4's across the frame rails for support and roll the cab over backwards on to the 2x4's . Worked great for me. http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb467/fathead0703/63%...

63 wrongbed progress
Not my favorite task but began stripping the old finish from the cab. Has taken approx. 8 hours to get this far, I'm glad I'm not working with a deadline on this.

I'm thinking I"ll paint it a satin black. I used that on my bronco and I really like how it turned out.

Lower section of the B-pillars. I couldn't find ANY when doing my 63 so i had to fabricate my own, not an easy task.

I found this one in the LMC online catalog. A little expensive for my needs but gives you an idea what to look for.

Re: BUMPER
Here's what was on mine when I got it, don't know if it was the original. I'm not sure they came with a rear bumper when new. I think the bumper was installed by the dealer or owner.
